As part of its capacity development support to partner BSOs, to prepare them for the implementation of events using virtual platforms, SIPPO SA, together with one of SIPPO’s international sector experts, Torsten Piecha, is collaborating with the dtic by providing coaching for the preparation of the selected companies for participation in this virtual event. Each participating company will be fully prepared for the virtual event and be able to promote their products to potential international buyers. Support will also be provided during the implementation phase of the selling mission.
For the implementation of this mission, the dtic is being supported by Team Sweden (Swedish Embassy, Business Sweden, Open Trade Gate Sweden) and SIPPO in South Africa.
Based on the increasing trend towards the consumption of natural and organic products, this initiative is one of the dtic’s efforts in engaging and supporting companies from this sector, to promote and increase exports to the Nordic Region, with Sweden having been identified as a priority market. This follows the successful in-market Selling Mission to Sweden and Denmark, organised by the dtic in November 2018, which coincided with the Natural Products Scandinavia Trade Show in Malmö.
